Abstract

Over‐confident leaders taking excessive risks, the benefits of early treatment of bipolar disorder, serendipity in the quest for an Alzheimer's disease treatment along with strategies to minimise harm from drug therapy all played a part in the annual meeting for psychiatrists that is the Latest Advances in Psychiatry Symposium.
