Existence of solutions for delay evolution equations with nonlocal conditions

Abstract: Abstract:In this paper, we are devoted to study the existence of mild solutions for delay evolution equations with nonlocal conditions. By using tools involving the Kuratowski measure of noncompactness and fixed point theory, we establish some existence results of mild solutions without the assumption of compactness on the associated semigroup. Our results improve and generalize some related conclusions on this issue. Moreover, we present an example to illustrate the application of the main results.

“…In this direction, several articles on the subject have appeared in recent years (see, e.g. [14,18], or the interesting book [5]). In our model, possible external actions aimed at regulating the evolution of the phenomena taking place at pre-established times are allowed.…”

“…In the theory of classical ordinary differential equations, differential equations with delay and stochastic differential equations with nonlocal conditions have attracted the attention of several authors who have dealt with the qualitative and quantitative properties of solutions of these class of equations. See previous studies . Notable among these are the works where results on different types of evolution equations with nonlocal conditions were considered.…”
