Abstract:Teeth that are beyond the normal numbering of the mouth are considered supernumerary teeth, with 20 teeth in the deciduous dentition and 32 in the permanent dentition. Within the classifications of supernumerary teeth we have the Mesiodens, the most common supernumerary existing, located between the upper central incisors, with a higher prevalence in males.
