Expanding Roles: Teacher Educators’ Perspectives on Educating English Learners

Abstract: Although the underpreparation of teachers to work with English learners is a documented problem in teacher education, little research has addressed teacher educators' perspectives in guiding prospective teachers to educate English learners.
