“…Calorimetric measurements showed that the heat of explosive decomposition of the HE agrees with the tabular value of the explosion heat within the measurement error of ±10%. This means that there was no "overhardening" of explosion products during their heating by shock waves reflected from the chamber walls in the experiments of [47,48], which was observed in the experiments with TNT [49] and reduced the heat of explosive decomposition, as compared to the explosion heat determined for the HE explosion in a massive water envelope.
