In total, 18 days were spent on station, with an average core recovery of 86.65% for the site (Table T1). Drilling and coring in Hole M0079A was completed to 704.9 meters below seafloor (mbsf) using two tools in 14 days. The Fugro Corer in push mode collected the upper 67 m of sediment, and the Fugro Corer in percussive mode collected the next 81 m. The Fugro Extended Marine Core Barrel (FXMCB) was then used to complete the lowermost 556 m of the borehole.
