Abstract:We adapted a recently proposed time-domain framework to characterize the optical response of interacting electronic systems in order to expedite its computation without compromise in quantitative or qualitative accuracy at the microscopic level. With reliable parameterizations of Hamiltonians and interactions, our formulation allows for increased economy and flexibility in calculating the optical response functions to fields of arbitrary temporal shape and strength. For example, the computation of high-harmoni… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
