Experiences of psychotherapists transitioning to private practice during COVID‐19

Abstract: The purpose of this qualitative phenomenological study was to gain insight into the lived experiences of psychotherapists transitioning to private practice during the COVID‐19 pandemic. With an ever‐expanding need for targeted and accessible mental health care, it is vital to understand this phenomenon and how it impacted patient access and care, and the providers themselves.
