Experiences with legally mandated treatment in patients with schizophrenia: A systematic review of qualitative studies

Abstract: Background: Patients with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, may be legally mandated to undergo psychiatric treatment. Patients’ experiences in these situations are not well characterized.
