Experimental Analysis of Metal Flow and Strain Distribution in Rolling of Sn-Pb Powder

Abstract: Metal flow and strain distribution in the flat rolling of Sn-Pb alloy powder are experimentally analyzed by the modified visioplasticity method. The alloy powder is packed in a container of 10mm square made of aluminum foil and rolled up to 80% reduction in height. After the interruption of rolling, distorted shapes of the powder particles are measured experimentally.
