Abstract:In the present work, to improve the wear resistance of the cylinder liner, without affecting the heat dissipation, cast steel cylinder liners are coated with five-layer Functionally Graded Material (FGM) coatings prepared using High-velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) technique.
