Abstract: In this study, we explore the impact of monovalent (NaCl) and divalent (CaCl 2 ) brines, coupled with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactant at varying low concentrations, on the detachment and displacement of oil from sandstone rock surfaces.
