Abstract:This paper investigates the phenomenon of anomalous imbibition in shale reservoir rocks through a combination of numerical and experimental approaches. Shale gas reservoirs present unique challenges due to their low permeability and complex pore structure, significantly influencing fluid transport mechanisms.
