Abstract: In this study, the AA1100 aluminum alloy underwent the plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) process to enhance its adhesion to a thermoplastic composite of polyetherimide (PEI) reinforced with glass fiber, following ASTM D1002:10 standards.
