“…To check the extraction performance of the ZIF‐8‐PIL and IL [Bpy][NTf 2 ], the distribution coefficient ( D ) and selectivity ( S ) were calculated, which are expressed as follows: 41,42 Dgoodbreak=w2ΙΙw2normalΙ Sgoodbreak=w2ΙΙ/w2normalΙw1ΙΙ/w1normalI where w1Ι and w1ΙΙ denote water mass fractions in the water‐rich layer and ZIF‐8‐PIL/IL‐rich layer; w2Ι and w2ΙΙ stand for TFP mass fractions in the water‐rich layer and ZIF‐8‐PIL/IL‐rich layer.…”

“…At 101.3 kPa, the experimental LLE data were obtained at 303.2, 313.2, and 323.2 K. The information of apparatus and means has been provided in previous papers. First, the solvent (TCM or MIPK) and water, each weighing about 40 g, were loaded into a jacketed glass container and mixed for 4 h and then stabilized for at least 6 h. Next, FAL was added to the kettle several times (1–2 g each time) to determine different phase equilibrium points. A thermocouple thermometer was used to measure the temperature of each test system, with an accuracy of 0.1 K.…”

“…The apparatus and methods used for liquid–liquid extraction experiments have been adopted and widely described in previous studies. At 303.2 K, the extractant, water, and TFP were thoroughly stirred in a custom-made jacketed glass container for 4 h and then settled for 6 h. In the experiment process, the accuracy of the mercury thermometer for measuring temperature was 0.1 K.…”
