Experimental Determination of Densities and Refractive Indices of the Ternary Mixture 2-Methyl-2-propanol + Cyclohexylamine + n-Heptane at T = (303.15 to 323.15) K

Abstract: The experimental data of the ternary 2-methyl-2-propanol + cyclohexylamine + n-heptane (densities F and refractive indices n D data) and three binary systems: 2-methyl-2-propanol + cyclohexylamine (n D data), 2-methyl-2-propanol + n-heptane (F and n D data), and cyclohexylamine + n-heptane (n D data) have been determined. Experimental F and n D measurements have been performed simultaneously, at five temperatures, (303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 and 323.15) K, and atmospheric pressure, using an Anton Paar DMA … Show more

“…Volumetric and transport properties of binary and multicomponent mixtures are essential for a process design as well as for understanding a structure and packing changes in mixtures. This work is a continuation of our ongoing research of the thermophysical properties of multicomponent mixtures containing organic solvents, such as esters, ketones, and alcohols. The systems of dimethyladipate or dimethylphthalate and 1-butanol or 2-butanol with 2-butanone were investigated in our previous paper …”
