The work presented here compiles and describes ten experiments using only a glass of water to illustrate fundamental physical concepts. Some of these experiments are classic textbook examples while others may be less known. However, we expect that all of them will be appreciated equally by physics teachers and students. The experiments are designed for high school students and teachers, offering an easy-to-implement, hands-on experience for teaching important physical concepts. We have not included experiments that require fire or dangerous substances, so that students can learn from these experiments in the classroom and can repeat them at home to reinforce the learning process and encourage interest in science in general and physics in particular.
