“…For improving the mechanical and wear behaviour of base metal, ceramic nanoparticles (reinforcements),solid lubricants and suitable casting processes play essential role in the development of novel metal matrix nano composites by using optimal process parameters during the manufacturing process of aluminium 7075 metal matrix nano composites.Al7075 alloy is widely used in automotive and aerospace applications like shafts, keyways, worm gears, aircraft fittings, regulating valves, etc. [4].The research workformulated to study the wear characteristics of metal matrix nanocomposites Al7075 with TiC and Graphene nanoparticles reinforcements. Manufacturing of metal matrix nanocomposites is a critical issue and stir casting is a suitable technique, so the same is used for this experimentation.Developed metal matrix nanocomposites with a smaller number of defects are estimated to have improved tribological properties by adding the TiC nano particles with graphene content by weight fraction method.Using pin-on-disc equipment, we are presently focusing on the wear behaviour of developed metal matrix nanocomposites [5].…”
