Abstract:We
report the experimental observation of a spectral manifestation
of a magnetic polariton that was theoretically predicted last year.
This unprecedented manifestation is demonstrated not only for 15N-enriched peroxylamine disulfonate, a radical that adheres
strictly to the assumptions of the theory, but also for a radical,
4-oxo-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-d
16;1-15N-1-oxyl, that departs somewhat from the assumptions, as well
as the Galvinoxyl radical that represents a severe departure. The
magnetic polarit… Show more
“…Experimental data obtained in ref. 32 confirm the appearance of the dependence of resonant frequencies on the power of the MW field. However from the analysis of experimental data obtained for 15N-enriched peroxylamine disulfonate, a radical that adheres strictly to the assumptions of the theory, 30,31 the authors of ref.…”

“…Using this criterion, the formation of spin polaritons is shown in ref. 32. For three solutions of paramagnetic particles, the shape of the EPR spectra was measured by varying the power of the MW field and the dependence of the frequency of the resonance lines of the spectrum on the MW power was established.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
