Abstract: Photovoltaic (PV) modules are among the most efficient, environmentally benign, and long-lasting systems. The amount of solar radiation impacting these modules that is converted to electricity is quite little. The remaining radiation is transformed into heat, which causes the PV module to overheat and lose efficiency.
