Experimental Status of the Chiral Magnetic Effect

Abstract: Experimental searches for definitive evidence of the Chiral Magnetic Effect in heavy-ion collisions have become increasingly ingenious over the past decade, but a clear separation of any CME signal from flow-related backgrounds remains elusive.
