Experimental study of a magnetohydrodynamic momentum ring

Abstract: The investigated magnetohydrodynamics liquid ring is applied to space missions about satellite attitude control in this article. The magnetohydrodynamics liquid ring physical equipment was tested, and the fluid velocity and current were measured. The experimental results display the liquid ring is workable with attitude adjustment task control. The experimental results offer data basis about the futural optimization design on magnetohydrodynamics liquid ring.
