Abstract:Dynamic stall is a critical limiting factor for airfoil aerodynamics and a challenging problem for active flow control. In this experimental study, dynamic stall was measured by high-frequency surface pressure tapes and pressure-sensitive paint (PSP). The influence of the oscillation frequency was examined. Dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) with time-delay embedding was proposed to predict the pressure field on the oscillating airfoil based on scattered pressure measurements. DMD with time-delay embedding was a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
