“…In , we have proposed a PF‐based synchronization and communication scheme for the chaotic Colpitts circuit over the AWGN channel. In this paper, we extend the work in by fully studying the synchronization and communication over both the AWGN channel and the multipath fading channel, proposing an improved auxiliary particle filter (IAPF) algorithm considering the feature that the chaotic attractor is confined in a bounded state space and conducting a security analysis of the proposed communication system.
