“…The influence of the curing age on the chloride permeability of HPC will decrease with the reduction of the water-binder ratio of HPC. Under the same freeze-thaw cycle conditions, the relationships between chloride diffusion coefficients of different water-binder ratio HPC and curing ages are nearly suitable to power function.Generally, the chloride permeability of the concrete and its durability are closely related.Concrete durability problems involving many complex factors and failure mechanisms, however, always depend on how difficultly the liquid water or harmful liquids penetrate into the concrete. Therefore, the permeability of the concrete is used as an important indicator to evaluate concrete durability at all time with the corresponding test standards [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] . But these methods have restricted limits because the specimens curing 28d or 56d without load(stress) result in the large deviation from actual environment [8][9][10][11] .The relationships between the chloride diffusion coefficients of HPC and different water-binder ratios or curing ages under load and freeze-thaw cycle were studied in this paper and the formulas describing relationships between the chloride diffusion coefficient and each factor were also established.Detailed descriptions of the materials and experimental methods used in this study are presented in the following sections.…”
