Abstract:Metal halide perovskites used for the detection of heavy-metal ions are reviewed with the development of exploring lead-free perovskites in aqueous media highlighted.

A new metal–organic framework was assembled from a S-rich ligand and Cu(ii) ions. It exhibits efficient electrochemical performance for simultaneous determination of heavy metal ions and good adsorption of methylene blue (MB) and neutral red (NR).
