Exploration of Mechanical Properties of Aluminium – Titanium Carbide Composites
Abstract:The current exploration work focuses on the fabrication of aluminium (Al6061) matrix composites reinforced with various weight percentages of titanium carbide particles by stir casting process. The percentage of reinforcement is varied from 0wt% to 7.5wt% in the steps of 2.5 wt%. Mechanical properties of the fabricated aluminium matrix composites are investigated.
