Abstract:BackgroundTypical chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative neoplasm caused by t(9; 22)(q34; q11) translocation. This chromosomal translocation forms the BCR::ABL1 fusion gene. The tyrosine kinase encoded by the BCR::ABL1 is considered to be the main pathogenic diver.
