Exploring (Anti-)Radicalism on TikTok: German Islamic Content Creators between Advocacy and Activism

Abstract: This study explores the representation of radical and anti-radical ideologies among German Islamic TikTok creators, analyzing 2983 videos from 43 accounts through qualitative content analysis. The results reveal two main content clusters: religious practice involving social/lifestyle issues and political activism around Muslim grievances.
