Abstract:This research investigates the benefits of training for education professionals around the topic of mental health for learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This includes raising awareness, alongside strategies and approaches to support this unique learning group. This study was conducted in a response to existing research, which concluded specific mental health training is needed for educational professionals working with learners with PMLD.
