She graduated with a Masters in mathematics from Jagiellonian University. She also completed the postgraduate study of management and administration of public health at the School of Public Health in Krakow. She is especially interested in health indicators and their potential application in healthcare sector financing, modelling and forecasting. These issues were the subject of her recently completed doctoral thesis.
AbstractThe report is a result of the Ageing, Health Status and Determinants of Health Expenditure (AHEAD) project within the EC 6 th Framework programme. The objective of the research was to present the model of future health care system revenues and expenditures in selected Central and Eastern European countries (CEE) which are now the New EU Member States, and to discuss projection assumptions and results.
