Exploring the factors influencing the adoption of ICT tools among rice farmers in southwest and north Central Nigeria

Abstract

This study delves into the multifaceted factors that shape the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools within the agricultural landscape, focusing on rice farmers in Southwest and North Central Nigeria. The adoption of ICT tools in agriculture holds immense potential for enhancing productivity, sustainability, and overall socio-economic development. However, understanding the determinants of this adoption is crucial for effective implementation. The research employs a comprehensive approach, combining surveys, interviews, and statistical analyses to unravel the intricate web of factors influencing ICT tool adoption.
