Exploring the flavour structure of the high-scale MSSM

Abstract: We analyse the sensitivity of quark flavour-changing observables to the MSSM, in a regime of heavy superpartner masses. We analyse four distinct and motivated frameworks characterising the structure of the soft-breaking terms by means of approximate flavour symmetries. We show that a set of six low-energy observables with realistic chances of improvement in the near future, namely ∆M s,d , K , K / K , B(K → πνν), and the phase of D-D mixing, could play a very important role in charactering these frameworks in … Show more

“…The spectrum of mini-split SUSY is such that the sfermions are a loop factor heavier than the gauginos. Flavor constraints, in particular kaon mixing, imply that the sfermion masses have to be approximately around the PeV scale while the gauginos, states that do not introduce any sources of flavor violation, can remain light, not far above a TeV [106,107].…”

“…In the presence of flavor violating squark masses, many low-energy flavor observables receive SUSY contributions [53,54]. Particularly sensitive probes of flavor violating squarks are Kaon oscillations that are potentially sensitive to squarks at the PeV scale [55,56].…”
