Abstract: Aggressive strains of Neopestalotiopsis sp. have recently emerged as devastating pathogens of strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duchesne ex Rozier), infecting nearly all plant parts and causing severe outbreaks of leaf spot and fruit rot in Florida and globally.
