Exploring the influential factors of manufacturers’ initial intention in applying for the green mark ecolabel in Taiwan

Abstract: The Green Mark eco-label constitutes an essential program introduced by Taiwan's Environmental Protection Administration to support environmental protection. In the manufacturing industry, the Green Mark eco-label is intended to enable differentiating between manufacturers that apply green processes and those that do not. This paper presents an assessment model for identifying manufacturers' initial intention to apply the Green Mark eco-label. The model was derived from the certification process flow. A total … Show more

“…All of the indicator results meet five conditions for the recommendation of model fit. As mentioned in the measurement model testing in Table 5, the chi-square test (X2/df ) [52], the root mean square error approximation (RMSEA) [53], the goodness of fit statistic (GFI) [54], the Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) [55], and the comparative fit index (CFI) [56], and these indices were chosen in order to determine how well the model fits the data [57,58]. As shown in Table 6, all nine of the factors of this study have positive path correlations.…”

“…Cronbach's α is a reliable test to detect the consistency of the questions amongst a constructed factor [37]. A CR test assesses reliability using factor loading in its equation [5,38]. An AVE test is the average quantity of variance on observed variables, which describes the variance in a latent construct [5,6].…”

“…A CR test assesses reliability using factor loading in its equation [5,38]. An AVE test is the average quantity of variance on observed variables, which describes the variance in a latent construct [5,6]. The mentioned parameters have been used in many SEM analysis studies to have threshold values of 0.7, 0.7, 0.7, and 0.5, accordingly [39][40][41][42][43].…”
