Exploring the role of beyond mean-field interaction in the structure and dynamics of one-dimensional quantum droplets

Abstract: We present simulation results of the ground state structure and dynamics of quantum droplets in one-dimensional spin-orbit coupled binary Bose-Einstein condensates. We have considered two cases for this analysis, such as (i) the mean-field term has a vanishingly small contribution utilizing the equal and opposite inter- and intraspecies interaction and (ii) unequal inter- and intraspecies interaction. The quantum droplet exhibits remarkably different natures in each case. In the former case, it exhibits bright… Show more

“…Recently, we reported the results of the effect of the beyond mean-field term on the structure and dynamics of the droplet [1]. While deriving the dynamical equations related to the finite mean-field interaction, we inadvertently missed the negative sign in equations ( 1) and (2), as indicated in red below.…”

“…While deriving the dynamical equations related to the finite mean-field interaction, we inadvertently missed the negative sign in equations ( 1) and (2), as indicated in red below. Therefore, equations ( 1) and (2) in the original paper [1] should be replaced with the following equations. Due to this mistake, the overall results and conclusions will remain unchanged.…”
