Abstract:Signal transduction is a key aspect of biological life. PTEN (phosphatase and tensin homolog) is a widely studied signaling protein in mammalian systems, where it acts as a tumor suppressor. Numerous studies have conclusively demonstrated the anti-cancerous effect of this protein.
