Exploring the role of Tibetan medicinal formula Qishiwei Zhenzhu Pills (Ranasampel) against diabetes mellitus-linked cognitive impairment of db/db mice through serum pharmacochemistry and microarray data analysis
Abstract:BackgroundDiabetes cognitive impairment (DCI) is a common diabetic central nervous system disorder that severely affects the quality of life of patients. Qishiwei Zhenzhu Pills (Ranasampel) is a valuable Tibetan medicine formula with the ability to improve cerebral blood vessels, protect nerves and improve learning and memory, which has also been widely verified in clinical and basic research. Currently, the prevention and treatment of DCI are still in the exploratory research stage, and the use of Ranasampel … Show more
“…The environmental contamination of mercury ions (Hg( ii )) is tagged as severe class 1 pollution. 1,2 This hazardous element poses a significant global environmental issue, 2–4 as even low levels of Hg( ii ) can have detrimental effects on human health. 5 Long-term exposure to Hg( ii ) can permanently damage the developing foetus, kidneys, and brain.…”
In this study, we successfully synthesized polymeric graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanosheets through thermal means and proposed their application in solid-phase extraction (SPE) for the enrichment of trace Hg(ii).
