Exponentially Weighted Moving Average Chart for Skewed Distribution

Abstract: Exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart can be designed to quickly detect small shifts in the mean of a sequence of independent normal observations. But this chart cannot perform well for skewed distribution.
