Exposing the Masquerade of Nocardia otitidiscaviarum Pneumonia: A Case Report

Abstract: We present a rare case of an immunocompetent 49-year-old male agriculturalist from India diagnosed with Nocardia otitidiscaviarum pneumonia. Nocardia species are ubiquitous gram-positive, partially acid-fast bacilli that predominantly infect immunocompromised individuals.
