Este dado concorda com os relatados no estudo realizado na Itália, por DONATO et al (2006), que associaram a presença de altos níveis de PCBs em soro sanguíneo de moradores residentes perto de uma indústria química, com o consumo de alimentos produzidos em áreas contaminadas. Estes dados demonstram a importância do monitoramento da contaminação alimentar por resíduos químicos, especialmente por PCBs.…”
