Abstract:Grapevines (Vitis vinifera, Vvi) are economically important crop plants which, when challenged with salt (NaCl) in soil and/or irrigation water, tend to accumulate Na+ and Cl– in aerial tissues impacting yield, and berry acceptability for winemaking.
