Extensible markup language and knowledge management

Abstract: Explores the use of extensible markup language (XML) to both store and enforce organizational data definitions, thus providing a synergetic framework for leveraging the potential of knowledge management (KM) tools. XML provides a flexible markup standard for representing data models. KM provides IT processes for capturing, maintaining, and using information.
