Edeiken and Wolferth (1936) reported 14 cases with persistent pain in the shoulder following myocardial infarction, and Boas and Levy (1937) described 21 cases. In 29 of these 40 cases the left shoulder was involved, but some patients with radiation of the anginal pain to the right shoulder subsequently developed chronic right shoulder disability.…”
