Abstract:Choroid plexus papillomas (CPPs) are extremely rare lesions that originate in the central nervous system. Still rarely, these can occur in heterotopic locations. We report a case of aneonate who presented at fourth week of life with a small swelling in the left side of the oropharynx. There were no other symptoms. MRI scan revealed a cystic lesion with the possibility of lymphatic malformation or teratoma. Swelling which was gradually increasing in size was electively excised.
