Abstract: IntroductionThe traditional treatment of calcifying tendinitis of the shoulder was based on many therapies: the use of analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs, local steroid injections, lavage, needling, physiotherapy and surgical or arthroscopic removal have been proposed and applied.
