“…The herbs used in this study were Aristolochia indica , Alhagi pscudalhagi , Bacopa monniera , Balsmodendron mukul , Benincasa hispida , Calotropis gigantean , Cannabis sativa , Cassia alata , Catharanthus roseus , Cephalandra indica , Coleus aromaticus , Cubeba officinalis , Cyperus rotundus , Datura metel , Hygrophila spinose , Lawsonia alba , Marsilea minuta , Mimosa pudica , Nardostachys jatamansi , Paederia foetida , Papaver somniferum , Phyllanthus niruni , Piper chaba , P zeylanica , Psoralea corylifolia , Ptychotis ajowan , Ricinus communis , Sesamum indicum , Tribulus terrestris , and Trigonella foenum graceum . Twenty‐five grams of each herb was powdered with a laboratory mill, extracted with 100 mL of 50% ethanol for 7 days at room temperature in dark, and filter sterilized 17 . The concentration of the above extract was set to 1, and the effective concentration of the extract was determined by treating cells with serial dilutions of the extract in medium in each experiment.…”
