Abstract:Liyangan buries some artifacts in volcanic sediment, including pollens. Reconstructing ancient plant diversity requires good quality in an adequate amount of genomic DNA from fossilized pollen. The current study was aimed to separate pollens from their sediment and extract the pollens.
