Abstract: Synthetic organophosphorus compounds are highly toxic hence, widely used as pesticides, insecticides and chemical warfare agents. Organophosphorus hydrolase (OPH) is an organophosphotriester hydrolysing enzyme; effectively hydrolyse a range of organophosphate esters.
