Extraction of Cobalt in Lithium Ion Batteries by Lixiviation with Lemon Peel (Citrus x aurantifolia)

Abstract: Given the growing demand for electronic products, the manufacture of lithium batteries (LIBs), follows the same trend. LIBs contain cobalt, a metal that is rare and expensive.
